*Mayme in summer 2002, drought had them going through mud to reach a water hole, that is mud on her legs.

*Warriors Mayme Maybe
  ICHO 101-D
  HEIGHT: 15 hh
  DOB: 1995
  COLOR: dun

Mayme is a strong dun factor 1995 daughter of *Seekers Warrior, and is a feminine version of him, except for being taller and much less curly: she is a true minimally expressed Curly Horse. When I acquired her it was winter in South Dakota, and I thought she was a smooth coated Curly mare until I got close enough to her to see her ears. When you get close you see a little coat curl on her neck beneath her mane and most importantly, the hair inside her ears (the typical giveaway) is very curly. She produced an extreme filly by *Bad Warrior in 1999, which further indicates her dominant Curly gene. She has produced 2 extreme foals now, both of which have kept their tail hair so far. She is a range mare, but is sensible and easy to handle and work with; I am even putting her in a halter these days; (although never technically halter broke) she is very docile, intelligent & quiet natured.
