Pictured here in rough range
shape, (she was caught here to get wormed and full of burrs) *Wind is still
fancy and correct, with excellent conformation, heavy bone & a recognizable
Two Eyed Jack head. You can't tell in the summer, but in the winter she is
much curlier coated than most so-called 'purer' curly horses. This mare has
been an excellent advocate for the Curly Horse here in Montana. We displayed
*Warrior Wind in local horse fairs and agribitions. She really impresses
the local ranchers and cowboys, who admire excellent western stock horse
conformation & ridability. Her mother is the smoothest moving (most
comfortable riding) foundation bred quarter horse on the ranch. Two Eyed
Jack & Lynx Nomad are right on her papers. This mare has the same breeding
as GiWaNi Pony Boy's curly stallion, *Warrior Lynx, who is by *Teddy, out
of Lynnette Lynx. *Wind has the disposition everyone hopes for in a Curly.
The temperament of this foundation QH bloodline is unparalleled; they have
a better temperament than most people's Curly Horses do! :o) Most of
them are in the AQHA Foundation Legends books. *Wind is also an excellent
producer like her mother - with her last foal
(*Breezy) she showed her mother's ability to
allow the stallion to produce his best.
